Single use cups are one of the biggest waste that we produce in the world. Each year we throw 500 Billions cups, in our landfills and oceans.

Also, disposable cups cannot be recycled. It contains a special line of plastic between paper that helps prevent leaking but also makes composting and recycling almost impossible. And for that reason they are simply thrown away, polluting our landfills and oceans, and harm marine animals.

If we want to reduce our impact on the environment, we need to start recycling disposable cups properly. There are many ways to reduce disposable cup waste. One is to simply use a reusable cup instead of a disposable one. There are many great reusable cups out there, and most coffee shops will let you use them. Another way to reduce disposable cup waste is to recycle them properly. Most cities have recycling programs for disposable cups, so be sure to recycle them when you can. Ultimately, we need to start thinking about disposable cups as a waste problem. If we want to protect the environment, we need to start using reusable cups and recycling disposable cups properly.
